BIAS 4 Controller

The Bias 4 Controller is a wall mounted multi-channel Control Unit which operates in conjunction with up to four remotely installed sensors to detect the presence of flammable and/or toxic gases.

The Bias 4 Controller system must be installed in a safe area, such as a control or equipment room, where it will also be protected from the weather. The unit displays gas concentrations and provides alarm indications and relay outputs when monitored gases exceed the preset levels. Fault outputs are via fail safe volt-free relay contacts.

The unit may be powered from either a 110V/120V or 220/240V ac supply or a 24V dc supply. When fitted with the dc backup option, the operational internal 24V battery pack will power the Bias 4 unit for a minimum period of one hour in the event of ac and dc power failures.
